I have a 1976 85hp Evinrude on a 17ft stinger bass boat fiberglass. Carrying 3 people tackle, 2 batteries, troll motor, and 10 gal of gas I do about 38Mph.
My current prop is a 13 1/4 x 17 stainless steel
It hits 4500rpm at wot.
This motor says max rpm is 5500.

The story;
I purchased the boat with this motor and when I took it out it shifted and ran great propelled the boat to 45mph.

I currently have a 10x15 prop on it now and I'm hitting about 23mph on a fiberglass 1961 boat with 2 adults 1 child, battery's and gear.
My RPM range is hitting 4350 at WOT at 23mph.
