Hi guys, I have a friend that has a 1997 9.9 Mariner that he replaced the water pump and now when he slides it back up to bolt on it will go all the way but the last 3/4 inch to being flush? Is there some trick to getting this back flush to be able to bolt up? Its in "forward" now. I'm stuck...
