    How to test my Tachometer?

    I was trying to test my Tachometer. if connected the engine don't fire. once disconnected the engine fire right up. Anybody knows how to test it? Also how to test the Temp sending unit? Thanks in advance

    Popping sound coming out of the carb when I open up the throttle

    3.0 Mercruiser 140. when I open the throttle, I hear popping coming from the carb. Any ideas? Also, anybody know where I can Exhaust tubes instead of the exhaust bellows? Thanks in advance.

    Mercruiser doesn't run. Coil doesn't spark

    Today I changed the guages. The engine doesn't run anymore. I tested the spark from the iginition and it was nothing, which means something wrong before the coil. Any Ideas? Thanks
