I need to replace my lower unit on my qd-16. I have found a few that are similar. Any ideas of what other lower units are compatible. I found one that is of a QD14 (1953) or QD15 (1954) 10 hp this would help thanks.
I just purchased a 1955 Johnson 10 hp it had not been run for four years. It started on the 3rd pull but would only shift into reverse and then noticed the milky white oil leaking out of the bottom.
