Motor cranks and runs fine except for one big problem. When engine in cranked idles at 1500-3000rpm most of the time. However, there are times that idles perfectly. Choke seems to be functioning ok. Does not seem to be a problem with throtle linkage. Can change from high idle to correct idle...
Suzuki 1999 DT-85
When moving throttle forward slowly and reach about 2,200 rpm enginge speed increases rapidly. Don't know how high it would go but pull back when it reaches 4,000-4,500 rpm. When throttle is pulled back goes back to idle fine.
Any thoughts on what could cause this run up...
