I have a MFG Gypsystar 17 and in the process of replacing stringers and transom,the old stingers were not tied into the transom with fiberglass,just butted up against it,fiberglass stopped about 6 inches from transome.I was wondering if it would be a good idea to tie the stringers to the transom...
