Replaced a missing core plug on the head, ran the garden directly to the raw water pump on the engine to prime the system so I don't fire it up dry, started it up and it ran for about 20 seconds and WATER!! everywhere..... found a bad core plug in the block behind the exhaust manifold and a leak...
Nothing big, just an old 74 Geneva 16 ft with a Volvo Penta drive
Can't complain about the price, FREE!
Needs a freeze plug in the front of the head, old one is already out.
That and a general cleanup.
Last time out for this boat was in 07, it's been tarped since.
