I recenlty purchased a 1979 2hp Evinrude with "15 minutes of use" - but a lifetime of salt water corrosion. Actually, its in reasonable shape, but there's just a lot of salt and corrosion around the various springs/moving part. I've rebuilt the carb, change the spark, cleaned the fuel...
