I have a GLP-C 3.0l and I realized that the previous owner replaced the starter with an aftermarket but he did not put the brace at the rear of the starter that connects to the block. I read the forums and this bracket protects the starter from vibration and the 2 mounting bolts from breaking...

My alarm for water temperature, oil pressure and exhaust riser temperature stayed on up to 2000-2500 rpm. Note that it is not loud as when you turn on the ignition, it is just a faint chirping. Oil pressure looks fine on the gauge, temperature also nice on gauge and engine and riser fairly cool...
The yoke ( V-holder with screw) under my mechanical fuel pump on 3.0l GLP-C Volvo Penta broke when I tried to replace the fuel filter. :mad:
