    Reverse Rotation Distributor gears

The distributors will not go in as the gear in the engine has the teeth of standard, but is a specific reverse rotation distributor

    Reverse Rotation Distributor gears

Hi all. Almost done with my restoration of my classic dual engine Donzi. Engines are BBC 454's with crusader Vdrives I have run into a snag. We've installed the standard rotation distributor no prob. I purchased a reverse rotation distributor for the other engine, It has different gear teeth...

Shot in the Dark Depth Transducer Compatibility

So my boat has a transducer fixed to the bottom of the boat. The previous owner took the fish finder/ depth finder with him or he lost it whatever. This is the pic of the plug. I believe it was a big screen fishing component. I really only want the simple depth finder like the one in the...

    Multiple 260s, 270s, and 280s

So my buddy runs the parts department for a boat company that restores mostly old woodys and classic fiberglass. He said that they are going to be selling off a bunch of 260s, 270s and 280s that were attached to classic Donzi's. As well as a ton of components.

    Terribly stoopid question

Yeah, I was not sure if that setup from post #3 was standard or not. Looks like I am all set. Thank you all for your help.

    Terribly stoopid question

So I will fill in some more info on the situation. We have always known that one is reverse and one is standard. The reverse has a timing gear and the standard has a chain. The reverse has a front seal that pushes the oil in and not out. I just simply forgot where they went in the boat now...

    Terribly stoopid question

I don't really have a way to run them on the hard. The starter is attached to bellhousing inside the boat. So I know which engine is which. That part I do know. It is which engine goes on the port and which goes on the Starboard side

    Terribly stoopid question

Unfortunately, the distributors were removed prior to my purchasing it.
