I replaced the bellows and shift cable on my 1994 20 foot Sea Ray with an alpla one lower unit. I can get the lower unit to engage in both forward and reverse gears without issue. My problem is when I hook up the spring loaded shift assist and place the drive in forward gear it becomes difficult...
