I have a 1988 Mercruiser 3.7 I4 and im going to be overhauling the entire engine in a few weeks....do the parts for this match up to any automotive engine parts? just wondering if some parts would be less expensive in the automotive application of this engine if any?
i have a 1988 glastron 19ft open bow boat with a 3.7 mercruiser engine. when i am going slow and put it into neutral and then try to put it into reverse the engine stalls and i have to restart the engine. does anybody have any ideas on what the problem could be?
