    i have just rebuilt my carbs and choke solenoid,i have a electric fuel pump i installed mid last year.motor runs great once i get it started,but....i have to open choke valve (red knob) after i crank a few times to purge,seems to be vapor locked till i do that,then starts fine? not sure whats up...

    I been trying to disconnect shift rod to remove lower unit.I dont understand how its attached and how to diconnect.can anyone give me a clue? please!

    Can anyone please tell me how to disconnect the shift rod before removing the lower unit? trying to replace water pump.I do not see a screw going thru the rod like my 150.
