Hey just wanted to put this out there. When I got this motor I was told it ran but I have never ran it. Complete all is there will give away to good home also have a Johnson sailmaster 8 I'll give away as well. I think the sailmaster needs a powerpack and a tiller arm.
Found water in #2 cylinder and #1 spark plug looked like it had a lot of hard white ash looking stuff on it but was/or seemed to be firing ok. #2 also seemed to be firing ok.Had 120lbs. compression on #1 and 94lbs. on #2. Pumps water very strong. Could this be a blown head gasket or maybe a...
I have a 1988 25 horsepower Evinrude and their is a sticker near the fuel connection that says 100/1 fuel mix.Is this correct ? I ran 50/1 in the motor and it seems ok but smokes alot and have a cylinder cutting in and out.Using Quick Silver Premium oil.
