    Xp/gt 100 motors are prop rated 115s. Same as the 110/112 blocks but smaller csrbs.

    Try to find a late 80s 115/110/112 motor. They are the prop rated versions of the 140

    Remove the kill switch completely and use the choke to kill it. You cannot use an ignition to ground kill switch on that motor. That is probably a phasemaker ignition and it will get expensive fast

    Do you have the round carb? You need this kit and they are still available. 18-97355 - Carb Kit, Mercury 1399-8153

    You cant test the fuel pump on that motor with a gauge. The pump is part of the carb.

    The spring gets set up to always put pressure on the red arm towards the starter sheave. One end will go around the tall metal tab.

    Looks like Tilt and trim colors. Follow them back and see if they go to the relays.

    Any snowmobile built into the 90s. Any dirtbikes built into the 90s. Any chainsaw built today. How are a piston reed or case reed any less reliable than a piston port?
