I have a 87 force 125 on a 18.5 bayliner. It has been sitting for about 5 years. I cleaned the carbs and took it out for the first time yesterday. It ran fine As I accelerated. When I got to full throttle it started to jerk and act as it was losing gas. Could be old gas That I didn't get out of...
I have a 1987 force 125 0n my boat. It has been sitting since 2004. I took the carbs off and sprayed carb cleaner in them. It still will not crank. I can start it with starting fluid. Any help would be appreciated...........

My starter turns and the bendix jumps up and locks in the flywheel. The starter shaft keeps spinning but the motor doesn't turn over. The motor is not locked down, I can turn it with my hand
