My dad bought me a 12' Lugar Kit Boat for my 15th birthday in 1963. We built it together in our garage over the winter and put a 30HP Johnson on it. My next boat was an 18' regal BR. Moved up to a 23' Sorrento and then to a 240 Dancer. I currently own a Sea Ray 215 Express Cruiser.
