i have a lower gearcase (uint) that is complete. it was in a box beside a 1976 johnson 25 hp outboard i bought. the owner could not remeber what he bought it for. i have looked on several sites trying to match the casting numbers with no luck. if anybody out there is parts guru i could sure use...
I have a 1974 mercury 20hp short shaft. Trying to figure out what other horse power mercury lower unit will fit this motor. I tried looking at part diagrams but with so many different numbers that have superceeded to other numbers its very confusing. If anybody knows thank you.
bought a mariner without a cowling. only data plate has serial #6111514. can't figure out what year or hp. i was told it is a 30hp. found a parts diagram that matches my motor that is for a 25xd mariner made in belgium. any history of this motor would be outstanding.thanks
