I have a 1974 L6 Merc.outboard. I checked for power to the switch box and I have power to the Red and White terminals. I also have power to the Rectifier and the Brown wire coming from the distributor. Should I have power at the Green wire for the coil terminal?
I have a 1974 merc 6cyl. it started when I put in the water a week ago. I went to start it yesterday and it wouldnt start. I checked for fuel and spark I have no spark to distributor from the coil. Where does the coil get its power from.
