I have an 88 470 Mercruiser Engine. It doesn't overheat but the coolant boils out of the radiator cap and I can't find a new one. Does anyone know where to find one?
I've had this boat for 15 years. Mostly it runs well but recently I've been noticing the coolant reservoir getting empty but no noticable leaks and oil is good. Yesterday I noticed a lot of white smoke coming from exhaust, it started heating up so I shut it down. The reservoir was half full...
Does anyone know if there is a kit to update the ignition in a 1988 Mercruiser 470?
I'm new to the forum so any help would be appreciated if this question has already been posted in the past. I would just need to be told where to look.
