Hello, my old engine had electronic ignition, the new one points and condensor. I took off the points plate and replaced it with the electronic one. ( points had one black wire to right side of coil. electronic has two wires. one red and one black.)
It would not fire with the electronic hooked...
I replaced the engine and the tach does not work. 2 wires from back of gauge. 1 grey and one black. grey to the neg. side of coil ? black to ground ? Your ideas please.
