I bought a 40hp Johnson. Recently serviced (supposedly). It does look oiled up etc, like it's been running recently. Very young Outboard mechanic attempted to con me into believing it was a 1964. Electric controllers weren't produced on 40hp Johnson until 1969 - 1974...
