Well, I finally uploaded some pics for all to see where I?m at.
Here is the form I used to make the keel, well I made two, this one was not good enough.

I usually don?t go far out when I go fishing, usually around 5-15 miles. There are some great fishing spots in the area.
I also always wear one of these when I go on my zodiac. And I also have few life vests I will be keeping in the boat.

here are some of the tools I have been using:
I used this grinding disc to take the paint off.
and a few of these:
and then I finished with a 36 grid sanding disc
I used an milwaukee adjustable speed grinder.

Well, finished grinding for now. The thing is the glass is so beaten up and cracked that the only thing left of the boat would be the gelcode when I would be trough with it. I grinded all the soft spots off the front part but only 1 ft off the rear part so it would...

I have some concerns about the keel, the thing is there is cement in it.
I know why it?s there, but the thing is DO I HAVE TO GRIND IT OUT BEFORE I START GLASSING OR CAN I GLASS OVER IT ?

I waxed an aluminum plate I had lying around and screwed it in place.
