    Compression was good back in January and hasn't been used since then, plus it's all cylinders

    My 50 hp 2 stroke is running great on land once it's in the water it idles out and dies. Spark plug just done, compression good. Think it's the low idle jets in Carb and going to rebuild them but wanted to know if anyone else has had this issue.

    Lower unit 35 hp Evinrude

    My drain screw opening has stripped. What I mean is that I can't put a screw into my lower unit for the lower unit lube. Any suggestions?
