    I grew up fishing the Mississippi in the Monticello area, all rock stretch of river and on Mille lacs lake bobber fishing the windward side of structure. Used bobbers to keep bait out of the rocks.

    I have caught more walleye bobber fishing with a crawler on a 1/16 ounce jig than I have ever caught while trolling.

    When I rewired I have access to THNN wire oil and gas resistant wire.

    There is not a lot of wire in those motors, you can easily rewire a motor. I have a 1957 Mercury I can easily get parts for. Do a compression test. Post some pictures up please.

    My home is in a trust for my 2 kids, it will be their shared cabin when the wife and I are gone. That is why a 50 year roof is what I want.

    Owner offers a test drive anything above that is on the buyer. Up to you what you want to risk but like others offered a survey done on the water will suffice. A good surveyor will see the signs of issues with the hull from the inside.

    Rant: Can't catch a break with weekend weather...

    Well the weather has finally come around, it is now hot and dry. Evidently perfect weather for pollen, the pine trees are puffing like smoke. My voice is gravel my eyes are caked shut in the morning, this is the opposite of fun.

    best way to carry gas to the dock

    Consider it part of your fitness regime, I go with the 5 gallon cans. The ski boat normally is pulled when not in use so I will just drive to town to put the 25 gallons in, the pontoon just has a 6 gallon tank so that gets filled every other week.

    No but I may need one funny I gave away 4 window units when I moved. Actually I could use a portable unit the upstairs bedrooms get warm when the house is crowded.
