    1985 Johnson 30 Leg Question

    I notice two small holes on the bottom of the leg left of the water intake on this motor. Is this normal or has someone possible drilled the holes in the leg? Not sure why they would. When I run the engine pressurized with a garden hose, water pisses out of these two small holes.

    What year is my 30HP Johnson?

    Just bought a 30HP Johnson but am unsure of the year. Model #CJ30RLC0A Serial #C8207640 Can you tell from the serial or model number if it is a short or a long shaft as well? I have yet to see the motor to do a measurement. Thanks in advance.

    Can you run a long shaft motor on a boat with a 15" Transom? I want to run a Honda 35HP Four Stroke Long Shaft 20" on an older Lund S-16 Aluminum Boat with a 15" transom.     What year is my Honda BF35A?

    Hi all, i have a Honda BF35A Tiller S/N - BLAG - 1003868. I was told it was a 1999 but any research I have dug up says these 35's were only made from 1990-1994. Does anyone know what year it is?
