I would like to wire my stereo so that it is connected to a switched 12v source rather than to the ignition. I have a 2 pole toggle switch but I am not the most efficient electronics guy. Can anyone please let me, in an elementary fashion:redface:, know how to wire this switch?
I would like to re-paint the ugly brown strip on the side of my boat. What I'm not sure about is what paint to use and if I need to clear-coat after, if so with what kind. BTW it's a 15ft gel-coat run-about.

Just bought 15 foot runabout/ski boat but I haven't been skiing or tubing in an Alberta lake for about 15 years. I've heard most lakes are going for s**t and are really low. How bad are they?

2) I would like to change colours on by boat's gelcoat. It is about a 2 ft stripe on the side of the boat. I would like to change the colour to red. Any suggestions on how, what kind of paint...
I'm restoring an '87 Crestliner o/b runabout and I need new railing. It is a closed bow and the railing runs all the way around the edge of the bow. The one on it now is bent pretty bad and is basically garbage. Does anybody know where I can get something similar?

I have a 1977 Mercury 850 (85 hp) outboard on my boat and was wondering if it will supply enough charge to the battery to run a 200 watt stereo. Will it be able to keep up or will I have a dead battery at the end of the day?
Anyone?
