    1973 7.5 Merc Thunderbolt, Sfat is loose in saddle/yoke, How to remove the play?

    Hi folks, As the title says, the shaft ( sorry for the typo above) on my Merc has side to side play in the saddle/yoke. Is there anyway to remove/reduce the amount of side to side motion? Are there rubber grommets/washers that can be replaced? Is this something that I should try at home...
