I just picked up a used OMC TNT and two of the mounting bolts were snapped off in the unit which needs to be re-drilled and tapped. Does anyone know the thread size used on these bolts (OMC #0332216 7/8" long) ?
I just picked up a used boat with a 1988 Evinrude SPL 88 and trying to get the motor tuned up. Engine was last run 2 yrs ago. The egine seems to have been well maintained but nonetheless, I put a new water pump in (old one was fine), cleaned the carbs (a little sticky from old gas but otherwise...
Is it possible to bolt on a OEM power trim unit to the factory manual trim stern bracket ? I'm looking at a used unit off Ebay but not sure how much needs to be modified to install it.
