    no spark...allnew parts?

    I recently replaced all of my ignition on a 1996 5.7 alpha 1 o/d.....I didn't have a consistent spark....come to find outmy neutral safety was stuck....after replacing the e pickup cleaning the cap and rotor, coil, coil wire, i was able to run the boat for about 5 miles...then it stopped...
