Will be rebuilding powerhead on 1996 88hp SPL soon - anything I should do extra while I have the powerhead off, like check thermostats or whatever?<br /><br />Thanks in advance for your help...
I have a 1996 Johnson 88hp that needs new piston - thinking about just putting on a rebuilt powerhead instead. Is it possible to upgrade power by swapping the 88hp powerhead for a 115hp powerhead? Any help or thoughts appreciated - THANKS!
