I have a 1964 mercury six cylinder outboard. Its stuck in forward. When i took the engine cover off and disconnected the cable, the lever would move but you could not feel it move between forward, neutral and reverse. Im new to boating so excuse the novice talk. Anyway, i can push the rod down...
