    30 hp Johnson forward gear problems

    Hi, I have a 1987 30hp Johnson with remote controls. The last time I had the boat out, when in forward gear the prop was popping in and out of gear when first taking off or at low RPM. Worked fine when in reveres or when I got up to speed. Not sure if it's a linkage problem or something worse...
