    i have a 1965 johnson rdsl 27 outboard motor it will run fine when up out of the water but when i put the motor down it will run sluggish and die any idea what it can be

    i have a 1965 rdsl 27 motor and if it is up it will start and work fine but when i put it down in the water it will bogg down and die could it be my carb are something else
