I recently puchased a boat with 1980 140 hp mercury L6 in it. Was recently rebuilt top to bottom by a local shop. They unfortunately forgot to lock the primary pickup screw and idle cam (which i found two hours out of town). Did the timing, realigned the idle markers and boat runs good now...
Boat stalled on lake. Tryed to restart nothing, disconnected battery to check connections when I reconnect battery starter:confused: starts even without key on. Suggestions about solenoid etc please
