    I have a 18 evenrude 1973. It has a starter but no one has ever hooked it up. Would a riding lawnmower selenoid and high cranking amp batt. be enough? I just think it would be plenty but i dont know how many amps it pulls.And i would like to do it this way because i will have a batt. up front...

    runs rough

    I have a 18304 a evenrud 1973 she runs rough at lower rpms its like a intermittent engine miss. It has new plugs it doesnt seem to do it after half throttle. could this be a points issue or a coil or is it the champion plugs?

    I have just a small amount of water coming out just above my exhaust but dont even know whereto look for my pee hole, i think it is plugged up my pump looks good on erlier inspection. It isa 1973 evenrude 18 horse 18304a. please help thanks in advance.

    I just bought a 1973 evenrude 18 horse. Some one has taken the rod off of the rich lean mix nobthat sticks out by the controls. Wher is a good place to start with the setting? Thanks for any help i rebuild transmissions but this is my first boat.

    our first boat

    we got our first boat 14 foot aluminum with a 1973 18 evenrude.We have to fix one spark plug hole w/helicoil.But what is my fuel mix& what octane should i use?Thanks for the advice in advance.Aand should i replace fuel pump,water pump before we head out?
