Does anyone have a recommendation on a good repair manual that covers a 1997 25 hp merc? I have the factory manual but it does not have much info other than good parts lists and some descriptions of electrical systems.
I have seen Solec and Clymer online....
Anybody good with outboard motors? I just got a used 1997 25 hp Merc which appears to be in very good shape. Starts at first pull. I haven't put it in the water yet but I put muffs when I test it. I don't run it for very long (about 1-2 minutes) because I notice that water does not come out of...
I have been looking for a short shaft 25-35 hp outboard to use with my 16' flat bottom aluminum boat. Its been tough finding one. I live in West Michigan (Grand Rapids). I'm hoping someone in the forum who is from the area and may know someone who has what I'm looking for sees this post.
