I have a 2004 johnson 9.9 four stroke that i was mounting and when i flung the battery cables toward the battery, one of the leads hit the opposite tterminal on the battery and caused some smoking and burnt wire smell. I don't know if the positive lead touched the negative post or vise versa? I...
Anyone know what the compression should be on this motor? It has 90# on every cylinder. I have talked to some that say, put the money in it keep it going and others that say that low of compression is no good. Just want to know if I should spend the money to put new electrical components on it...
