Hey my boat wont start and i think its ignition problem..... OMC 4 cly inboard motor. I put in a new coil and then i took a plug wire, stuck it in the coil and a plug on the other end of it. I then touched the threaded part of the plug to the motor and didnt see a spark...and this is a brand...
I have looked everywhere for the serial number on this 4 cyl OMC 2 barrel motor and cant find it. My freind THINKS its like 135 hp and a 1988 motor.
all i found on the side was GM , the number 277008, and 139/88.......
any ideas i think the number tag or whatever is missing? is...
