    I rebuilt carb now it idles nicely but wont run any higher rpm's than idle speed

    Im trying to rebuild my carbs but there is red stuff around some of the screws i guess it is loc tite but i m not sure how to get it off and i cant get them to budge is there away to free them up before i strip them out

    Gas shoots out of carberator

    I have a 1978 Mercury 115hp outboard which ran great but now gas is shooting out the top carberator. What could it be? it also is running at high idle and i can't get it too run at normal idle. Help!!

    1978 mercury 1150 shoots gas out of top carberator and runs wide open until it floods itself out:confused: i replaced floats but still does it
