The mechanical fuel pump from my 4.3 L needs replaced. It currently has a Carter 0-2210. I see there is a Sierra pump replacement. However, I've heard that I should stay away from Sierra pumps. The OE part number is 41141A2. Where can I buy an OE pump? Or is the Sierra OK?
I noticed after this winter gear oil leaking from the very bottom of my gimble housing (from the one inch diam hole). I made the mistake of storing my outdrive in the up position, and I don't think I drained the gear oil.

I don't post here often, but I love this site. Well I had a little issue on the lake yesterday where the ski rope got wrapped over the top of the whale tail and busted off the top of the lower unit (see pic).

I've got an 87 SeaRay and I was doing some winter maintenance. I was thinking of replacing the fuel filter. However I can't find where the fuel filter is.
Can someone help me out?
