87 40hp mariner on water christmas eve all is fine. in water this a.m. when going to forward anything over quarter throttle it slips. thought it was the prop slipping changed prop same thing. took linkage loose an manually shifted .no help. WHERE DO I START LOOKING. any ideas
have a 25 hp with mod. #E25ROCS .think it's a 1980.it has no fire at either plug. check kill button seems ok with ohm meter plus i disconnected the ground wire to it.any ideas what to check next or procedure to check coils an power pack.
