    1973 25 hp model 25302A,the pin on the recoil housing is bent.This is the pin that the outside part of the recoil spring goes over,Can this pin be replaced or is a different housing needed. This is the one on the housing not the cast one on the pulley.TIA

    No,It was cutting out because i was running it in a barrell,problem solved thanks to everyone.But now the pin that hold the recoil spring is bent...does it ever end???

    would the o ring on the top of the shift rod and the O ring on tube that goes above the waterpump housing have a effect?Been doing alot of reading and it gets more confusing

    This unit runs great with the cover off,dies when the cover goes on.Seems to happened after i put the water pump in.The pump works good
