77 mercruiser, when its tilted up theres a noise like the gears arnt meshing or a ujoint or somthin is making noise goes away when u tilt the motor down any ideas and is it safe to still run
i have a 77 mercruiser 120 outdrive. when engine is running and the outdrive is at full up tilt the outdrive makes alot of noise but goes away if i lower the outdrive. any ideas pls . btw there is oil in it
