    I replaced the impeller with a kit. By checking I meant that the woodruff key was installed correctly. The seal for the water tube appears to be good.     Water comes out of a hole at the bottom of the midsection if I plug it with my finger it comes out of the top of the midsection. Added pics but not sure I did it correctly

I checked the water intake and is clear, removed the telltale hose and it’s clear, replaced the impeller and hooked a water hose to the tube that goes down through the water pump housing and get good water flow through the engine.
