Does anyone know if you can use any other model transom plates for an alpha one gen 2 (1998 and up model)? Mine is broken where the bellows attaches around the gimball bearing

Im in the process on removing my aplha one outdrive. I have it in forward. have all six bolts off (on a side note what is the ground plate for on the lower right stud). It separated about a 1/4 of an inch and wont come any futher. Any suggestions?
