    1971 mercury 1150 turns off when put into gear

    well i put my boat in the water ran fine for about ten minutes then started bogging down and turned off. put it in neutral starts right up and idles fine but when i put it into gear it shudders a little then turns off. need help in finding what could be causing this. :( thanks in advance

    removed shift rod from shift cam to replace oil seal shift cam moved now can't get it alinged any posible way to aling with out tearing the lower end apart

    Lower unit on 1971 mercury 1150 leaking oil thru impeller. How hard to replace seals? or is it something else

    Hello everybody new to forum just bought a 17ft manatee with a 1971 merc 1150 need to know if there is an adjustment for the link rod (located between the trottle lever and the trottle cam) as carburators buterflies not fully opening. Any help greatly apreciated as would like to take it out...
