ok, i am a new boat owner.... i bought a classic with a 1965 johnson super seahorse..... the first time i took it out it ran like ****... wouldnt get above 1500 rpm... was doing like 10 mph....... changed the spark plugs and while doing that i found some cracked fuel lines... changed that...
ok so last week as i was leaving the harbor the johnson started becoming less responsive and losing power fast... we shut down and tried a spot.. i checked the gas and noticed alot of gas was being consumed.....
started up and decided to head back in before i was carried to far out to sea...
i have no idea... it is all cracked to hell and back, is it bad or no? what is it anyways.... i really have o clue... i loved dirtbikes when i was young so i though 2stroke thing would be ok, but wow....some help please???....
toook it out,,, only running on 1 cylinder... 10mph? open engine...

Anyways point being, I took it to the lake for the first time last week and i got out, motor seemed to be running rather rich, he told me he ran a 1-20...
