    If anyone knows how to power up Mariner 9.9C from 1981 (Japan) to 15 HP. I've founded that there is difference in reed valve, but besides that, any other differences? what's with carb, ect.? If anyone knows or have experience with it i would appreciate it. I know that this engine is Yamaha...

    Yamaha 15D reed valve clearance

    Hello, If anyone could help me, I need to know for Yamaha 9.9D from 1981 what is reed valve clearance (lift). I've checked in yamaha service manual for outboards form 1984 but looks like it's not the same engine. I need this for my Mariner made in Japan engine. Thank you
