I have a '74 eska 5 hp. My impeller in the water pump has all the fins curved. I looked online and new ones are not. The impeller fits very tight which i'm sure in time has caused mine to twist. Do I need to replace it or is mine still ok?
I have a 1974 eska 5hp model 1705f with a tecumseh 600 power head. My question is that afer a while it loses power (overheating). Should the water exiting be "spiting/misting" or "peeing" out?
I just bought a little fish boat and it came with a 1974 Eska 5hp motor. Would anyone have any info on the fuel ratio? The motor starts on about 3 pulls then runs great on full throttle for about 5-8 min when it slowly starts bogging down, finally dying. I have to wait about 5 min before...
